01 dec Agile Advent Calendar – 8 December
An Advent Calendar is a special calendar that counts the days to reminded us that Christmas is approaching. Originating from Germany in the late 19th century the advents calendars offer a sweet, little piece of chocolate or another treat each day when one of the 24 shutters are opened.
With the end of the year approaching fast, I would like to countdown the days until Christmas with you together. I assembled 24 Practices for that might benefit you as Agile coach, Scrum master or Agile practitioner. Join me in this online countdown. To heighten your sense of expectation we share one Tip every day.
Tip 8: Work with coach assignments.
Ask the team what they expect from their agile coach and where they could use some help. Have an open dialogue and put those areas of coaching in a coaching assignment. Not only does it lead to a nice discussion, it will yield in better insight in the needs of the team. A coaching assignment will help you to keep focus during the period (e.g. the quarter).
